A perfect day comes my way.
A new day to see.
I wake up and sip my tea.
In the morning, we take a stroll on the beach.
Water up to our ankles and toes sinking in the sand.
Walking with you, holding your hand.
A picnic in the park, under the shade.
Eating delicious treats that we have made.
We laugh and talk; looking into each other's eyes, sharing our dreams.
We then share a few drinks; say cheers and let our glasses clink.
In this perfect day, nothing is as it seems.
This day seems as if it is a dream.
In this perfect day, our souls are serene.
As the sun sets, we admire the sky.
Then we cuddle close, as the stars come by.
A quiet moment, for just you and I.
In this perfect day, we’re as happy as can be.
In this perfect day, we have created memories, forever to hold.
This perfect day is now a story to be told.
