What Life Hands You

Life often hands us unexpected challenges and opportunities.

Your life may be easier than the ones close to you, even your own siblings can have a harder time having an easy life.

Life can be corrupted by so may things; mental illness, addiction, chaos.

Sometimes in life, when one good thing happens, there may be an exchange for a bag thing to happen.

I got engaged to my High School sweetheart and love of my life in Florence, Italy on New Year’s Eve.

It was the best day of my life, a trip of a life time.

We explored Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan; an Italian-Winter dream.

When we got back to the states, I was high on love.

Unfortunately, that high didn’t last long.

I lost my job not to long after the trip.

It has now been 6 months of searching.

I wish I could say I haven’t been trying, but that is so far from the truth.

All I do is wake up and try.

Right now, I am just accepting everything for what it is, but I will not allow it to break my mindset.

I will not allow this time to force me to give up on what I am meant to do with my life.
